"I see the splendid future over... It do not be please smashed." |
One of my English students (a fourth grade girl) came in wearing this hat.
I do not have a hat like that...
I wish I had a hat like that...
I plan to look for one and wear it the next time somebody predicts the end of the world;-))
Wow, that's a particularly special one! If possible, you most certainly should get a hat like that!
ReplyDeleteOne wonders who comes up with those slogans. :)
ReplyDeleteLol, I wonder who wrote that on the hat.
ReplyDeleteLove the new picture at the top of the page!
OMG!!! It do not be pleased smashed is AWESOME!!! I need to use that in a daily conversation
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, I've seen worse grammar on Conservapedia...
ReplyDeleteGood one, Daz ;)
ReplyDeleteThe hat is fabulous!
I have no idea what it means! It could be taken as either pro- or anti-apocalypse.
ReplyDeleteChris-- one of the more special ones I've found lately!
ReplyDeleteSachi-- I *always* wonder that...
Ezmirelda-- hi! Glad you like the header:-)) Are your finals done? (I'm sure you got all A's;-)
Sarah-- I fully plan on incorporating "it do not please be smashed" into my vocab... though it may confuse my kids...
Daz-- HA! True--so have I!
Alice-- glad you like:-)
Jerry-- That's what I thought. The first 'sentence' seems slightly pro-... the second one seems firmly anti-. Maybe the sentiment of "it do not please be smashed" is the overriding sentiment?
